What languages do you work in as a voice talent?
Do you sing?
In the shower.
What types of voice overs do you do?
Narrative and character (just branching out into this field).
Have you ever done any acting in theatre or film?
How long have you been a voice artist?
When did you realize you were good at doing voice overs?
As an editor I often have to provide a temp VO for my edits. It was a client that liked my voice and kept a temp VO as the final. I found it fun and enjoyable and so pursued additional work as a VO artist. As an editor this gives me an instinctual feel as to the right tone and pacing for a project.
Do you have a funny anecdote about a voice over job you’ve done?
No real funny anecdotes but I do like to have fun in the recording booth and have a good laugh.
What compliments do you get about your voice?
Good tone and warmth. Very friendly and compassionate.
Do you have a hobby or passion relevant to voice overs that you’d like to comment on?
My main profession as an editor. This gives me an added feel to the needs of the project and a good understanding of the whole film making process in general.
An editor who became voiceover. His knowledge and his special voice gave him the opportunity to work in many interesting projects
