How long have you been a voice artist?
Have you done any work as a voice actor that stands out or you consider your best work?
I'm really proud of my work in Ozark (Sofia Hublitz) and Mare of Easttown (Angourie Rice). And of course Moana (In Spain Vaiana) has a very special place in my heart.
When did you realize you were good at doing voice overs?
I had the opportunity to dub a movie when I was 6, for me it was very special and fun and the result was just what they needed (a natural child voice); so that was my first contact with the industry. However, I didn't continue working during my childhood and teenage years, instead I started theatre classes and focused on my training, in order to be ready to start a career later on.
Do you have a funny anecdote about a voice over job you’ve done?
Some of my training happened in USA, so I'm very fluent in English. This one time during a recording, my brain tricked me between the language I was supposed to be dubbing (Spanish) and the language in the film (English) and I ended up rehearsing some words in English... Of course, at the moment I didn't find it so funny, but everyone laughed and we moved on.
What compliments do you get about your voice?
Usually people say I have a smooth, sort of high-pitched voice. But lately I've been able to explore the deepness of my voice, and I'm really proud of the results: even a sweet voice can express harshness.
Do you have a hobby or passion relevant to voice overs that you’d like to comment on?
Acting is both my passion and my job. My main focus is to tell a story, I'm passionate about that; so when I'm dubbing a movie or series, my goal is to keep telling the story and being as faithful to the work of the fellow actor on the screen as I can.
She is the Spanish voice of Moana, who will always have a special place in her heart, among many other characters she dubbed.
