What languages do you work in as a voice talent?
Mostly Dutch, English now and then. Although that is not my native tongue, of course.
What languages do you speak well enough to work in?
Dutch and english.
Do you sing?
I’m one of the worst singers you’ll ever meet..
What types of voice overs do you do?
All kinds, ranging from classic commercial voice over to poetry, and from cartoon characters to epic movie trailers.
If you’ve done work as a dubbing artist, have you ever dubbed anyone famous?
I do some dubbing now and then, but no well-known artist. That’s something we don’t do here in Holland as feature films and series are subtitled and not dubbed.
How long have you been a voice artist?
When did you realize you were good at doing voice overs?
When I started, actually. I noticed that I could ‘stand out’, more so than in acting.
Do you have a funny anecdote about a voice over job you’ve done?
Not really, actually…
What compliments do you get about your voice?
That my voice is versatile and friendly. And that I can talk real fast!.
Do you have a hobby or passion relevant to voice overs that you’d like to comment on?
I love doing podcasts. It’s my voice in a microphone, but still it’s a totally different league.
