How long have you been a voice artist?
When did you realize you were good at doing voice overs?
At university, unlike the rest of my classmates, I loved studying the international phonetic alphabet! I also love languages and I've always been fascinated by regional dialects and pronunciations. That fascination led me to my interest in voice work.
Do you have a funny anecdote about a voice over job you’ve done?
The strangest thing I've voiced was an informational video on fungus-based fertilizers. Making that sound exciting was definitely a challenge!
What compliments do you get about your voice?
I’ve been told that my voice has a “girl-next-door” sort of sound but that it can be sexy too!
Do you have a hobby or passion relevant to voice overs that you’d like to comment on?
I'm passionate about learning languages and experimental theater. I've studied the Linklater, Fitzmaurice, and Alexander techniques of vocal training and because of this along with my background in physical theater, my voice work is always rooted in a full body approach.
