Have you ever done any acting in theatre or film?
Yes both. I have just finished filming a role in a new series for Amazon Prime called La Templanza and have recently been in a play called Raw Beauty playing the lead character.
How long have you been a voice artist?
30 years.
Have you done any work as a voice actor that stands out or you consider your best work?
I was the national voice of the Barby Doll in my early career.
When did you realize you were good at doing voice overs?
I went to drama school from the age of 10 and have done voice oriented work since.
Do you have a funny anecdote about a voice over job you’ve done?
My daughter was once called in for an audition for a voice over for a cartoon and because she is dyslexic they asked me to read the lines first and she copy...... at the end of the session the client said "I want the mother to do the job"!
What compliments do you get about your voice?
That I have a beautiful English accent.
